Last night I went to a preview of the new Oliver Stone movie at the Bath Film Festival, screened to coincide with some sort of election that appears to be going on.
Well worth seeing. Hilariously funny…and then not so funny when you read the background pages that show that so much of the content isn’t satire but historically accurate…and remember that these people are in charge of a country.
A scene where Dubya receives a briefing paper from Dick Cheney on ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’ and responds, ‘Only three pages. Good.’ reminded me of someone I know….
