A top birthday weekend in Brighton. Good company, serious shopping and a stroll along the pier and beach.
I can particularly recommend lunch at vegetarian restaurant, Terre a Terre - try the Terre a tapas as a starter to get a taste of a cross-section of the menu. Definitely in my top ten of veggie restaurants.
Talking of top tens – I have a new challenger for my favourite vodka espresso/espresso martini – having sampled the vodka espresso on offer at Havana. A longer drink than my benchmark (Sherlock Holmes Hotel in Baker Street) but served with floating coffee beans rather than dusted with coffee. Mmmmm…..
